A lot of movies try to portray genuine despair and a downward spiral into depressing madness. This is one of those movies that gets it right. The slow descent into guilt and insanity fueled by a new found drug addiction really pulls you in. When a person gets to the true point of "nothing matters", they become extremely dangerous to themselves and those around them.

I would've liked this film more if our anti-hero wasn't such a bitch. She totally got off on the wrong foot for me bc she killed her friend. Kill anyone else... not your friend. So everything she did after that point was viewed through that lens and hence I wasn't a fan of hers, to say the least. It's not often I cheat for a bitch to get the shit kicked out of her. But voila, here we are.
