Elena Lazic Little White Lies Rather, beneath the film's superficial status as a simple, factual summary of events, lies a tongue-in-cheek, cutting and ultimately chilling critique of sensationalism, selfishness and self-delusion. Mar 21, 2018 Full Review Kate Erbland indieWire Eventually, the missing pieces -- and the Amanda Knox case is undoubtedly one of missing pieces -- outshine the compelling elements the doc does provide (again, Amanda Knox! as primary talking head!), leaving audiences only wanting more. Rated: C+ Jan 2, 2017 Full Review Amelia Ayrelan Iuvino Bitch Media Unfortunately, Amanda Knox veers more in the direction of reproducing a sensational story rather than providing valuable analysis of it. Dec 5, 2016 Full Review Gem Seddon SFX Magazine Told as a story, the case itself is fascinating, however what makes it so compelling are the one-on-one conversations captured on film. Feb 3, 2022 Full Review Brett Michael Dykes Uproxx Prepare to be terrified and infuriated as the filmmakers detail how an overzealous Italian prosecutor and a global tabloid press thirsty for a sensational story joined forces to wreck a young woman's life... Dec 29, 2021 Full Review Graeme Tuckett Stuff.co.nz Amanda Knox is a solid, refreshingly straight-forward look at this knotty case. Aug 20, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Mark B If you're ready to be infuriated and disgusted by the behavior of fat bureaucrats who are willing to throw young lives away all so that they can walk down the street and have their ego stroked by a bunch of propagandized lemmings, then this is a story you will love. If not, this still has value as it's a huge red flag warning at just how disgusting our fellow human beings can be, and why you should probably be a LOT more cautious about whom you allow to have access to you in life (as much as you can try to control that). Bonus points for a story that will have you more furious at a govt bureaucrat more than the typical bleep rapist murderer. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/01/23 Full Review toby h The Amanda Knox documentary is a balanced look at a sensational story. True crime fans will be in their element getting to hear the story from the horse's mouth. It'll leave you with plenty to ponder. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review david f This was a really interesting documentary that goes behind the headlines that I was reading just a few years ago to tell the true story. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Joel C I knew nothing about this and was actually expecting a bigger story. It's hard to sympathize for suspects who change their stories and pass the blame, it's happened many times in cases. I almost at some point just say to myself "lock them up for saying stupid confusing confessions!" But, I am aware that law enforcement can use this public perception to their advantage and use time and words to mess with the suspects. For future suspects of crime - speak the truth and stick to it no matter how ridiculous or embarrassing it may be. The media guy was a joke, it's his duty to ensure his sources and info are legit. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/18/21 Full Review Audience Member Amanda Knox was smart, beautiful, and a free spirit. And all of these worked against her. They tried to suggest that because she liked boys and sex that must mean she's guilty. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Dubious PR for the self-pitying and rather irritating Amanda Knox, who notoriously was charged/acquitted/charged/acquitted of the savage murder of fellow student, Meredith Kercher, alongside boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito. The elephant in the room is the extraordinary lack of respect or sensitivity shown by most of the protagonists towards Kercher, nowhere more clear than in the glib strutting of a so-called journalist with the hilariously appropriate name Nick Pisa. The documentary this aches to be has yet to be made. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
