The saving grace of the movie was the photography showing the jungle and its wildlife. But this represents about 2% of the running time. Best to avoid this one. Great scenes shot in the Amazon rainforest, was both believable and captivating. The action scenes was stunning, and I found myself fully immersed in the beautiful yet dangerous jungle environment. The story itself was getting my attention all the time. The moment the characters Machado and Silva are on the boat and announces: "vacation is officially over" Its a plus for me. I highly recommend the Amazon Queen movie to anyone who loves adventure, suspense, and incredible performances. Clayton Meek shines in this film and the entire cast and crew did an amazing job.
