The only way this plot works is if the police department is inept and the main characters are incompetent. Too many plot holes to stay focused. Acting was phenomenal as was the casting. The mom’s performance was beyond stellar.

Pretty good movie, interestingly unique story, but some plot points are a little far fetched. The introduction of the story was a little questionable and unbelievable. The ending was also very in your face. Still a great time and a fun watch. Actors carried a lot, too.
