Audience Member No "Googlewhack Adventure," but a very interesting premise. His visit to the closing store in Independence, OR, is worth the watch alone. Quite enjoyable to watch, especially the beautiful views of Middle America, the lesser known places. I'm quite envious of his trip, even though his unchained ethos makes it quite difficult. Dave doesn't like big companies / multinationals. He likes small independant family run businesses. What does he prove by driving across america avoiding the "nasty" businesses ? Not a lot really. But having said that, at least he visits obscure little towns, that would normally be missed in any travel film. The commentry isn't laugh out loud, but he keeps you engaged enough to want to see whether he makes it to the finish line.
