Debbie Lynn Elias Behind The Lens All the ingredients are here for a tasty indie gem. But while some of those ingredients more than satisfy the senses, it's the overall recipe for American Bistro that needed some adjustment and taste-testing before presentation. Audience Member Not a single moment of the movie, the script or the acting came across as authentic. Even if viewed solely as a comedy, the jokes simply missed the mark. A movie about food, matched with a number of close-up vomit scenes; no connection to anything wonderful about food or cooking. It was such a narcissistic movie about one man's first-world relationship issues, that I came away feeling completely empty. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
