What makes it particularly appealing is that, although the story is told from the point of view of a group of male friends, their female counterpoints get equal dramatic weight, and a decent share of the funniest lines.

I remember seeing this in theater and the people I went with. I had never laughed so hard before in a movie! So I was excited to revisit this in 4k. For me this movie still holds up and still delivers all the laughs. This movie is more than just a teen comedy it deals with friendships and all the things that come with it. This movie is timeless we all remember what high school was like. As for the 4k transfer it’s not the best and it’s darker than I think it should be. I am still glad I upgraded my dvd to 4k cause despite the darker scenes this is still definitely better than the dvd.
