Jason Delgado Film Threat While it might be too cheesy or over the top for some, it worked for me. Audience Member "American Reject" was unbelievably funny. Kudos to Kathleen and Frank Monteleone … and to director Marlo Hunter. Kathleen's performance was hysterical. I was laughing all the way through! Half of it was because she was so good in the role and the other half was because she looks just like her mother, my high school friend. My husband is not one to show a lot of emotion but we were both laughing the whole way through. It was easy to identify with the emotions the lead characters were exhibiting, both protagonist and antagonist. If a person has ever been rejected, embarrassed, or exhausted from competing … and we all have … this movie will make them laugh and forget their woes. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was super fun and and heartfelt. And it has some great music and awesome talent. Definitely recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny and quirky. A great find! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Love this movie! Entertaining, funny and a great message of hope. A must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member American Reject is a feel-good comedy following a 30-something heroine who must come to terms with failure. The film begins with her immense humiliation before all of America, immediately garnering our sympathy for her plight. Though it's clear she has some flaws, we're rooting for her to achieve her dreams (and regain some dignity). Along the way, she grows as a person, makes new friends, and learns some valuable lessons about being a person. This film caused me to laugh and cry. I would recommend American Reject to anyone looking for something both heartfelt and humorous. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny and unexpectedly emotional with great acting and earworm songs you'll be humming long after the credits roll!!
