American Satan doesn't put enough time toward one of the most crucial relationships in the movie for it to work. But the acting is excellent, the directing is stylized and energetic, the characters are interesting, the ending is remarkable.

I have no idea how this movie has such a high rating from critics. It was visually pleasing with a couple of good actors in it. The script was full of philosophical one liners that didn’t flow well at all. The movie was confusing and not in the way it seemed to be trying to be and the apparent take away message didn’t make sense and was inconsistent besides just showing how impactful and dangerous music and art can be to both the arrest and the fans.

Absolutely amazing movie. Who would have thought that Andy Biersack can act?The scenery is amazing. The story is cliché but also not. The music is great. Kind of reminds me of Trainspotting. Loved every second of it. Would definitely recommend.
