Audience Member Low-key independent venture for David Carradine has Vietnam vet drifting to rural Kansas town and obsessively rebuilding an abandoned merry-go-round. Many of the actors pull double duty with behind the camera roles as well. Financed by Carradine, filming began in 1973 but not released until years later. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Poor audio during dialog and bad character development but such an awesome premise. Seventies style explotation movie with just enough drama to warm the cockles of your heart. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Not as good as "Easy Rider" but definitely a comparable film, Carradine's film is more engaging than I expected. Very intense ending too. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Come watch David Carradine attempt to put you to sleep! Bonus: ambiguously gay mechanic and some dog killing! (Non-sarcastic bonus: Barbara Hershey's mid-seventies hotness.) Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Not the best produced film of all-time, but better than most we see today. David Carradine directed and acted in this film about persistence and character. Barbara Hershey could have been more. Michael Greene was superb.
