Adrian Martin The Age (Australia) An engaging combination of florid, baroque horror and colorful teen comedy, Amityville 1992 is one for "exploitation" cinema connoisseurs. Jul 27, 2023 Full Review Stefan Birgir Stefans sbs.is The sixth Amityville horror film and the only one that shares a subtitle with a Sharknado entry and if you think that a character doesn’t say “It’s about time” then you are sorely mistaken. Rated: 2.5/5 Jul 18, 2023 Full Review Joe Lipsett Bloody Disgusting Amityville 1992: It’s About Time is silly, fun and visually outstanding. It’s a stand-out entry that confirms the wilder the films get, the more enjoyable they are to watch. Rated: 4.5/5 Jan 25, 2023 Full Review Tim Brayton Alternate Ending Obviously, quite a pile of trash, and unbelievably stupid in the bargain... [but] three of the four leads are reasonably well-written. Audience Member Pure trash from start to finish. Poor acting and poor story what was they thinking. It's one of the low budget horrors your gladly use the dvd as an ashtray Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member There's actually some interesting ideas at play about time and vicious cycles, but it ultimately plays very corny. Still, once again, a lot better than I remembered. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/29/19 Full Review Audience Member A man returns home from a business trip from Amityville with the purchase of a clock that belonged in the original Amityville house and bad things start to happen. A very similar plot to Amityville: The Evil Escapes. Offers us nothing new other than strange relationships. Dad has his former lover watch his two kids while away (even though the kids are old enough to look after themselves). Dad also reinitiates the physical relationship with the woman who brings over her current psychiatrist boyfriend to the house to stay. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Sixth entry in worn out series has real estate developer bringing a possessed clock from Amityville back to his California home. Predictable fare that has several plot similarities to Part 4 with the Amityville lamp. Cleverly persistent tick-tock serves as a constant reminder that the possessed clock is biding its time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Surprisingly an improvement over the other amityville sequels, but this still has nothing to do with the murders and the haunting. It's just insane how they can ignore such a story and continue with nonsense. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member A pretty decent horror flick shoehorned into the Amityville series. It's nothing special, but if you like stuff along the lines of Full Moon's output, this fits pretty snugly into that niche. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
