Audience Member I kept waiting for this movie to open up and live up to the ratings I saw, 89%. it never did. I found this movie drab, unmotivating, dull and and boring. in no way did this movie measure up to the ratings it received Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member This is war. This is your brain after the war. Everything is grim and black and white. Feels like a first year film school student project. Even the twist. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member I was quite surprised by this movie, turned out far better than I could have expected. With an relatively unknown cast, and a simple plot it turned out very well. It touches a rather uncovered side of a soldiers life, being at home after its over. The struggle to put the past behined him, lack of purpose, addiction to sex and drugs, and lack of companionship. He slowly goes more and more insane, his boss hates him, the girl he loved left him, and a friendly dealer gets him hooked on heroin. As his life falls apart, he gets angry and dangerous. It's really a riviting and engaging story, but dark and realistic. The lack of color, and fact that most of the events take place after dark make it even more gloomy. The ending where he kills the only four people he really really knows, and also hates, is brutal and hard to watch. The very ending with his brother hearing about his death and we learn that he was crazy and none of the people he killed even existed, is a twist ending for sure, maybe not the one it should have had though. Overall though it is a great, dark and riviting story, and I got more than I asked for. Watched it when I was sick, which may have not been the best idea. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member I love it, it's a god damn movie, the best of the best..
