Thomas S Jul 17 I loved this film, above all for its atmosphere. It invites us to slip into the skin of people who live primarily through their bodies and appearance, which, in this case, also happens to be their working tool. Some scenes left a vivid, lasting impression on me — not for their drama, but for their sun-drenched simplicity and emotional nuance. I particularly appreciated how the death of Sophia’s mother is barely addressed in words. Instead, we feel its weight and consequences unfold subtly through action and behavior, which makes it all the more powerful. See more May 19 This film was my favorite pandemic release. Take note that there's no shortage of nudity in this sensual movie. Don't expect this to be a deep movie, because if you remove the sexual component, there really isn't much left.
