The actors' (Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan) raw emotions will tug at your heartstrings especially when only their eyes are speaking. You'll fall in love with the characters that you'll feel personal pride for their life's little triumphs and you won't mind shedding a tear with them when they experience bumps in the road. While it's a rom-com, it didn't veer away from some socio-economic and political issues, and labor problems beleaguering the Philippines. It also showed how generational trauma and bad parenting impacts children in the long run. Belle and Donny were ably supported by acting greats in the Philippines, so it's definitely worth your time, PROMISE!
