Kevin Thomas Los Angeles Times Agrelo clumsily attempts to play jaunty larkiness against somber situations. Rated: 2/5 May 12, 2011 Full Review Joe Neumaier New York Daily News Alba certainly tries her best at portraying not just a beauty but also a beautiful mind, yet very few things add up despite director Marilyn Agrelo's efforts. Rated: 1/5 May 7, 2011 Full Review Andrew Schenker Slant Magazine The film is a puzzling mix of sentiment, black humor, and loads and loads of nonsensical behavior. Rated: 0.5/4 May 6, 2011 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...a plodding, consistently tedious waste of time... Rated: 1.5/4 Jul 26, 2013 Full Review Brian Orndorf BrianOrndorf.com Agrelo bumbles the mystery and borderline insanity of the material. What should be a bold depiction of a frazzled mind is instead a bewildering feature with a tenuous hold on human concerns. Rated: C- Jun 23, 2011 Full Review Brent Simon Screen International A soupy, entirely unconvincing grab bag of unmotivated behaviors and unearned emotional payoffs, An Invisible Sign feels like part of some woebegone, misguided stab at indie credibility and image adjustment for Jessica Alba. Jerod S Alba is a quirky math girl that gets roped into teaching a math class with some troubled kids. When an axe lands in her leg in the classroom, she loses her job and the truth about her reliance on numbers comes out. So much quirk that it loses sensibility. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/07/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie should've had a sequel and had much better ratings. Such an good movie and the cast has really good chemistry. I honestly don't know why this movie received not great reviews. I think I would've liked to see more scenes exploring the relationship blooming between the two teachers but other than that, 10/10 loved it. Forever in my top 10 movies. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A hidden issue brought to the screen with sensitivity. Jessica Alba gave a most compelling performance. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Stupid people. Who don't know anything about movies. That's just what I want to say. O, and I will never visit Rotten Tomatoes again. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Literally terrible. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Watched this film and I actually think i need bleach for my eye's.
