Matthew Pejkovic Matt's Movie Reviews Overcomes its rigid tone with its boots-on-the-ground, fact-based approach to a tragic cold case. Rated: 3/5 Jun 26, 2021 Full Review Chris Barsanti The Playlist Not quite ready for prime time. Rated: C Jun 17, 2021 Full Review Rob Rector Film Threat While the path to document this tale was no doubt fraught with peril, one wishes that Le Guillou would further remove himself from the proceedings, as An Unknown Compelling Force spends ample time focused on the director. Rated: 5/10 Jun 17, 2021 Full Review Anne Brodie What She Said Just a brutal story and an extremely interesting doc. Jun 11, 2021 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation Liam Le Guillou brings a lot of Werner Herzog drama and breathless, narrated suspense to this admittedly fascinating forensic documentary about the Dyatlov Pass Incident. Rated: 3/4 Jun 11, 2021 Full Review Patrick Cavanaugh ComicBook.com Serves as a relatively comprehensive primer for the mystery, while also humanizing the victims, though injects unnecessary perspectives the distract from the intended focus.
