Though uneven at times plot wise, the computer generated effects are also a mix of good and bad, it's actually a good movie for a straight to cable film. It's not going to win any awards or anything but it's a serviceable monster movie and it's scarier than I expected, not a bad waste of time and I liked this one!!! Granted, I was hanging out with family and was a little tired. Regardless, this movie was bad, but at least it is better than Offspring. It's not better than the Hunt for the Blood Orchid nor the original Anaconda movie. It just exists. For that, I'm gonna give it three mercenary pulling grenades and gets blown up after the snake wised up and ignores him out of ten. 3/10. I know that is cynical, yet it is one of the few moments where it made me laugh. Anacondas: Trail of Blood still feels bloated, weighed down by too many characters and subplots. The action quickly becomes repetitive, mostly consisting of people running through the woods. It continues to suffer from many of the same problems as Offspring—poor acting, clunky dialogue, and lazy storytelling. The CGI is a bit better this time, though. See more Read all reviews
