Tony Mastroianni Cleveland Press And Hope to Die is a pretentious melodrama that aspires to being more then melodrama and which ends up being a good deal less. Nov 29, 2018 Full Review Amber Wilkinson Eye for Film The slippery morality of Tony and the older melancholic and reflective Charley are intriguing, making the film interesting on a psychological level even when the plot threatens to crumble under the weight of all its themes.
