dustin d 01/01/2022 ...And the Earth Did Not Swallow Him is a strong tale about the lives of migrant workers, the exploitation they experience, their sense of community and resilience. The way everyone outside their community (and a few within) behaved reliably horrible was a bit over-the-top, but it is an empathetic story overall.
