Young Andy Hardy (Mickey Rooney) is off to college, but before he even makes it to campus, he meets an attractive woman, Kay (Bonita Granville), on the train. Though he's promised to focus on academics rather than girls, he is immediately smitten with his new acquaintance -- until she tells him to grow up. As he is trying to collect himself, he meets a pretty blonde (Lee Wilde) who seems to have a hot and cold attitude. Little does he know that he's actually dealing with two crafty twins.

Steve D How did they rope poor Herbert Marshall into this? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/24 Full Review christopher c. m At the time of writing this review, this is my first Andy Hardy movie. I'm getting the feeling if this series came out a few years later, it would be a TV sitcom, as this story plays out like a sitcom. But stretched to nearly two hours for some reason. It is funny, like a good sitcom should be. But the run time makes the pacing slow. Plus there are character issues. I'm guessing a lot of the Andy Hardy franchise is similar, so if you're a fan of Andy Hardy, check this one out. But it's really not for everyone.
