But no, I guess when they said, "I miss Dad." that was because he was in Australia. The common thread between the two "Angela Christmas" shorts is that she has a childlike misunderstanding of how the world works. In the first one she thinks a lifeless doll needs a sweater to be warm. In this one she and her older brother think they can ride a train to Australia, find their dad and be back before 5:00. The kids are older and more are involved. It makes it harder to believe that no one would see the holes in this logic. It still has a sweet ending and overall has good Christmas feels.
