Audience Member Untypical Sci-Fi movie but a very deep subject. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Didn't expect much and was pleasantly surprised, this is not at all the turkey I thought it was. The acting is clearly the film's weakest point, but the story is good and it contains some memorable scenes, including a wolf in a shopping mall. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member A potential topic being wasted by such typical narrative. The farther the story moves, the messier the movie gets. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Ihan OOKOO scifileffa, ei mitenkään erityinen. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Portuguese actor, loved it! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member It could have gone a bit further than it did, but Animal is overall a pretty decent sci-fi thriller. It has a very interesting concept that, with a bigger budget and more advertising, might have been something on par with Gattaca. My only real qualm is that the main character, Thomas, is very unlikable from the start, and that his change doesn't seem as unbelievable as it should. I would have preferred more focus on Vincent's drastic reversal in personality. Still, it's a good story and decent movie - check it out.
