The story line was betrayed by a very weak screenplay. There were so many obvious dumb things that the characters did that it became painful to watch to the end. When you are hiding a prisoner, you don't parade him around the town. Bill tries extra hard to look guilty, and every other "covert" action was seemingly done intentionally to attract attention. Sorry, but not worth the time. Unusual for the British.

Very moving and realistic show about impossible choices when peop ln e must live in fear of the unknown, are hungry and do not know who to call friend. We are all human and all have breaking points, some just have more ability to extend kindness and empathy beyond their fears and needs. Recommend highly but not a light level show. Very intense.

Could have had a better ending. Still felt like a TV movie rather than big movie screen. Surprised they were not caught out earlier as the channel islands are very close knit, especially then.
