Anthropophagus II begins and ends with a bang. These bookends make up the strong focaccia bread for an otherwise messy meatball sandwich that still tastes pretty good. Go to Full Review

TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Dec 28 Antropophagus 2 is a painfully bad horror sequel that never finds a reason to exist. The screenplay is stuffed with empty, dialogue heavy scenes where characters trade lame lines that go nowhere and never build tension. Instead of dread, the movie delivers boredom, dragging every moment into the ground. The creature is laughable, looking less like a threat and more like a cheap costume pulled from a party shop, robbing the film of any sense of fear. Direction is just as careless, with flat pacing and no atmosphere, making it clear no one behind the camera knew how to shape this into a real story. Even for low budget horror, there is no creativity, no suspense, and no payoff, just a messy collection of scenes that feel stitched together without purpose. Antropophagus 2 isn’t so bad it’s fun, it’s simply exhausting and frustrating, a movie that tests your patience and offers nothing in return. This horror sequel deserves to be forgotten, skipped, and left buried where it should stay Now. See more Read all reviews
