Noel Murray Los Angeles Times Writer-director Keir Burrows' rapid-fire dialogue and barrage of images ultimately prove too exhausting, though it's always energetic. Sep 7, 2017 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter You can practically feel yourself getting smarter while watching Keir Burrows' brainy feature debut. Sep 6, 2017 Full Review Anton Bitel Sight & Sound Burrows' story keeps winding and meandering back to the same point... as Ana attempts to remember what has happened and to reconstruct her fractured identity. The results are paranoid and disorienting, if also - necessarily - rather repetitive. May 8, 2017 Full Review Patrick King Cultured Vultures From a purely visual standpoint, the second act of the film is great. Oct 23, 2019 Full Review Caroline Preece Den of Geek Anti Matter is a hugely ambitious film that soars as often as it falls flat. Yet, on a tiny budget and with a cast and crew made up of burgeoning talent, it is a film that must be admired for its aspiration and lofty intentions. Rated: 4/5 Oct 1, 2019 Full Review Tom Jolliffe Flickering Myth Anti Matter is a deeply involving film which uses its low budget as a strength rather than let it be a weakness. s r Saw it for the premise, but this one fell apart quickly. Still, props for the ambition to take on some meta physical stuff. It was on VUDU. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member less than medium of this kind of Si-fi Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member An impressive low-budget sci-fi with a heady twist and supreme direction from an undiscovered talent. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Frances H A very interesting movie and so well done for being low budget. It kept me increasingly involved in the panic and need to find out what had happened to the end. This is a really enjoyable sci fi feature! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/26/21 Full Review jaap a I can just suffice to tell you this film has a low-budget/student film feel in all of the movie's aspects (writing, editing, flow), so you'll need have patience with everything as you watch. I guess all positive reviews here seem to keep this in mind but this is not made clear, which has most likely lead to these (in my eyes) problematic recommendations. If you are expecting a mature or commercial film like I was, move on, as I can tell you I went in with that mindset and was quickly bored here. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a good film. The story is very interesting. It keeps you guessing all the way to the end. As a science nerd myself, I would like to know more about what Anna was trying to do when she created the wormhole and how what happens to her actually happens. It's probably quite farfetched and not scientifically accurate, but that doesn't make it less entertaining. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
