Sebastian Zavala Kahn Ventana Indiscreta Most viewers will engage enough with the characters in order to develop an emotional connection to the story. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3.5/5 Jun 4, 2020 Full Review Ayurella Horn-Muller Film Threat Without the talent demonstrated in this film, the narrative of Antiquities wouldn't hold up on its own. A sweet, wistful piece, it is difficult to ignore the agonizingly slow way it gets to its main point - forgiven only because of a strong ensemble... Rated: 7.5/10 Aug 30, 2018 Full Review Piers Marchant Arkansas Democrat-Gazette There isn't all that much here to stick to your ribs, but its smooth finish goes down like a frigid limeade on a scorching afternoon. Rated: 86/100 Aug 24, 2018 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film A smartly observed film with a sweet centre, Antiquities takes old themes and polishes them up until they shine. Steven R Very enjoyable character-focused story. The quirky cast is charming, and the microcosm of a snall-town world feels lived-in. The leads are excellent, whether the scene is light or more emotionally weighty, and the time-lost environment of an antique mall serves the cast in search of taking steps into the future. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/17/24 Full Review John S quirky, average, gets a bit better as it goes. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/15/24 Full Review Júlio D The film seems to be trying to be a poor version of Wes Anderson's films, with curious characters and colorful images. Antiquies fails to execute. Some interactions are so repetitive that you start to dislike the characters Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/24 Full Review Jonathan S Love the characters in this. Laugh out Loud Funny! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/02/23 Full Review aaron g Slow and boring, didn't care for any of the characters. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Every once in awhile a film comes along that just really gets my sense of humor . Really really dry and they pretty much nailed it all the way through . I understand this one won’t be for everyone but it really did it for me . I also love that it was an indie without even a critic score 4.1 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/05/20 Full Review Read all reviews
