Audience Member Very fresh comedy - timely, funny, honest, and very entertaining. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I didn't know what to expect but this was a really charming indie comedy. The cast works really well together and I find myself laughing out loud throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Eric Newman, a shy corporate professional who is nearing thirty, gets laid off out of the blue. He meets up with a long-lost friend named Raj who is dreaming of creating a start-up. However, nothing is ever that simple in life and they soon discover that they may be giving up way too much of their lives before they make it. Appiness was directed by filmmaker Eli Batalion, who also made the web series YidLife Crisis. So much of it hits way too close to home, because I am in the midst of a career shift and as a result, I spend my evenings staring at the TV, worried that my life is about to fall apart. So yeah. I get it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Appiness is a frequently laugh-out-loud funny comedy that breezes by at an 82-minute running time. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Sep 2, 2020 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed Something about it just didn't work for this viewer while still not being bored or too annoyed, it was not super engaging or entertaining. Rated: 2.5/5 Apr 4, 2020 Full Review Bradley Gibson Film Threat The pleasure of Appiness is a guilty one, but ultimately diverting and worth your time. Rated: 7/10 Feb 11, 2020 Full Review Mark Goodyear Battle Royale With Cheese Despite a likeable cast and some funny moments, Appiness lacks too much depth to be considered worthwhile. Feb 1, 2020 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film In the end, the points that Appiness has to make are all rather obvious and there's little tension or sense of momentum.
