Sherry M I like the special effects. The plot was a little weak. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/24 Full Review David H I actually slept through a lot of it. I was suffocating from the overwhelming amount of awful acting and cliche riddled dialogue. The score was also repetitive anticlimactic. Basically don't bother watching unless its free and you have nothing else to do. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/01/22 Full Review Angel cs Great movie, Amazing effects Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/05/22 Full Review Allie F I felt the plot could've been better developed, and many of the characters could have also used more development... but despite what was lacking in the story, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The VFX were amazing, and I loved many of the cuter and finer details in the movie - such as how when all his neurons were firing to depict the ocean king's power, the little nerve endings were actually aquatic creatures. How he communicated with sea creatures too was quite cheesy, but there was something lighthearted and nice about that. I guess the little details got me. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/04/22 Full Review Jeff C only 1 of 2 (Wonder Woman) that DC has gotten right. Seriously, how many Batmans will it take before they calm it down on that front. Perhaps they are waiting for enough to play the part to make a Batman multiverse like Spiderman. At any rate, great picture here to watch again and again. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/28/21 Full Review Michael love the movie. Best DCEU solo film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/03/21 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Amy Nicholson FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) The dumb parts of the movie are the best parts of the movie. I wish it had leaned into being more dumb. Sep 13, 2019 Full Review tt stern-enzi WXIX-TV (Cincinnati, OH) Nothing about this movie works. It is way too obvious, it's got cheesy special effects, it feels like a 1980's film with the jokes, and it's trying too hard. Mar 4, 2019 Full Review Roxana Hadadi Chesapeake Family Magazine Aquaman is a goofy, fun time if you don't think too hard. Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 7, 2019 Full Review John Kirk Original Cin It’s a comic-fantasy that gets a passing grade, but not a high one. What’s weird is that is actually a high score for the Warner Brothers brand of comic-book movies. Rated: B-minus Dec 21, 2023 Full Review Pradeep Menon Firstpost Aquaman has some truly original imagery and a matching score to boot. If only the writing had been as imaginative. Rated: 3/5 Oct 17, 2023 Full Review Kate Boyle InSession Film Aquaman is the fun action-packed, adventure movie we’ve sorely been needing from the DCEU. I’m happy with how they developed the character and hope to see more of him. I highly recommend you see this on the big screen. Rated: B- Mar 8, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
