Between 2010-2020 or so, I remember listening to old Art Bell recordings & George Noory Coast to Coast, seeing some ominous Area 51 and related YouTube videos that no longer exist. Take that for what it’s worth... This film is not meant to take itself seriously at any point. It’s not Chernobyl Diaries level great or Signs polished. But, it’s still a fun film if you’re into Area 51 lore. If you’re looking for academy, award-winning, this film is not for you. I’ll never understand such brutal reviews. What were they expecting, a life-changing experience? This film is exactly what it’s meant to be and definitely worth a watch, if you enjoy horror sci-fi fun! Some people say "the camera was to shakey" but it's because it's a found footage movie, in reality aint no one keeping their camera straight. I can tell why people hate it tho. Despite a few tense moments, the plot doesn't hold up and the slow pace makes it a tiring watch. The idea that the security outside the base is more effective than inside feels incoherent. No one can get past the outer limits, yet once inside, everything seems abandoned just to move the story forward.
