Claudio C Le voyage en Arménie / Armenia (2006) A Tour in Armenia (12,087– 24 Nov 2025 – by Claudio Carvalho) In Marselle, the cardiologist Anna (Ariane Ascaride) finds out that her father Barsam (Marcel Bluwal) needs surgery in his heart. When she receives the results of his medical examinations, she schedules his surgery. However, Barsam vanishes and Anna finds clues that he returned to his mother country Armenia. She travels to Yerevan to search for her father. She meets the Armenian Sarkis Arabian (Simon Abkarian), who is a mobster, and the powerful Yervanth (Gérard Meylan), who befriends and protects Anna. She hires the driver Manouk (Romen Avinian) and befriends the hairdresser Schaké (Chorik Grigorian), who dreams on moving to France. Along the week Anna spends in Yerevan, she befriends ordinary people, travels to several areas in Armenia and learns a little about the Armenia history. "Le voyage en Arménie", a.k.a. "Armenia" (2006) is a nice French movie with a good story. Anna is a French medical doctor, daughter of an Italian mother and a Armenian father that travels to Armenia to bring her father back to Marselle to be submitted to a heart surgery. While in the capital Yerevan, she has contact with Armenian people and learns part of the history of her father motherland, as it was his intention. The film is interesting and recommended for people interested in learning a little about other cultures. My vote is seven.
