Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm certain this movie was designed to delve into some deep emotional metaphors...It doesn't. Whether it is the Plastic Surgeon going through a midlife crisis, the mother reflecting on her losses, the wife confronted with an insane premise, or the main character who one may suspect as merely attention seeking, these characters are very hard to actually like let alone care for. The only character that's even slightly likable is the doctor's receptionist...and that may be because she is the only one in the whole movie who recognizes everyone else is mad. At one point in the movie the receptionist asked the protagonist to "get it over with"...and by this time in the movie I was thinking the same thing just so there might be a small glimmer of hope that this horrible film would be almost over. Just as an aside, this movie could be used for a drinking game. Every time someone says "I disgust you.." take a drink. You'll be good and hammered by the end because I believe that line was stated about 100 times. I can't be certain of that because I don't think I would sit through it again to verify the count.
