Audience Member Overwrought paean to Madrid and its underworld (seems slightly tame despite the director's hope we come away with a sense of its edginess). Drug deals and a menage-a-trois and Najwa Nimri's impossibly long legs predominate. Not bad. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member a mi esta peli me molaaaa Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member fun / raw / intense / cliche Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Can't help admiring that Najwa. And the rest of the beautiful people in this movie. Liked the atmosphere. The title suits this movie perfectly. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member A entirely generic crime-drama from Spain that does feature solid performances from the main cast - which includes Juan Diego Botto ("Silencio roto") and Najwa Nimri ("El Método"), two fine Spanish actors - but the plot is so woefully clichéd and run-of-the-mill that it's perdictable from beginning to end, making it a very dull experience. The writer-director, Daniel Calparsoro, does show competence in his direction - even going on to direct the very good (though overly-melodramatic) war picture "Guerreros" (aka "Warrirors") - but his writing skills here are severely lacking. Only those who are avid fans of Spanish cinema should consider watching this, others should definitely skip it.
