David W Sep 28 Thoroughly enjoyed this. Very funny, loads of in jokes but you don't need prior knowledge of Ashens oeuvre or Simon Pegg....to have a great time with this. My wife came to this cold and loved it too. The sequel is also hilarious. See more 11/24/2020 The only issue I had with this film is bloody Simon pegg in the lead role See more 11/22/2020 If you're into all things Ashens, you won't be disappointed. Well worth your time! See more r 9 03/30/2020 More enjoyable than I had anticipated. I do watch the Ashens YouTube channel, so knew I'd probably like this to some degree after watching. It in fact beat my expectations, as it's a film that I actually had a fun time watching. Stuart Ashen's acting is better than expected, while Dan Tomlinson makes for a decent sidekick. 'Ashens and the Quest for the GameChild' also features a few well chosen minor cast members too, whilst having noteworthy people like Warwick Davis and Robert Llewellyn appear. The plot is solid, the pacing is good and it brings humour with it. A pleasant surprise, this. See more 10/30/2017 Very comical film with plenty references to any fan of Stewart's channel See more 07/30/2016 Not suggested for people who don't know/don't like the Ashens YouTube channel, but if you do like Ashens, then this movie is a must see See more Read all reviews
