Adrián Monserrat EscribiendoCine A delight for disaster film fans. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 6/10 Nov 4, 2021 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed ...is very much a disaster film with a touch of extra, so the music is epic in spots and the cinematography shows the disaster loud and clear, while the effects assist everything. Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 25, 2020 Full Review James Mudge easternKicks.com Ashfall isn't terrible, though a long list of other films have done more with the same formula. Given the cast and the budget, the film really should have been better, or at least more fun, and it's hard not to be underwhelmed by the results. Rated: 2/5 Sep 16, 2020 Full Review John Berra Screen International Patently ludicrous but no less enjoyable for it, Ashfall is a rock-solid disaster spectacle bolstered by the savvy star pairing of Lee Byung-hun and Ha Jung-woo as unlikely allies tasked with a borderline impossible mission. Jun 26, 2020 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film Against the odds, Ashfall works at a dramatic level, largely thanks to the hard work of its cast and a real sense of commitment to the story that holds no matter how silly things get. Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 21, 2020 Full Review Daniel Eagan Film Legacy Ashfall isn't trying to do anything more than entertain viewers. Jan 20, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Angela Y 이병헌 하정우 믿고보는 배우들 영화가 엄청 타이트하게 지루할틈없이 흘러가고 액션 감동 재미 어느하나 놓치지않고 잘 만들어진 영화에용! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/20 Full Review Laurie S It was good, it was exciting, but it wasn't as good as it thought it was. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/30/25 Full Review Audience Member The only review you need to read. Ok, the Koreans have a burgeoning movie scene and have been trying to put out some American-quality cinema. This= is pretty good. Unlike The Host= it is acted superbly, no overacting shlok. The effects are really good- the story is actually pretty cool though it's been touched on to a degree in other films so it not super original- but it's entertaining. It was odd that the ending of the movie was easily far better then the lead up to it. I think it was like halfway through the movie that it really starting geling. I almost feel like if it would've went for more notes of harrowing drama that it would've been a really big hit. The 1 actors daughter wasn't touched on as much as it should've been- there was too many hokey humor attempts that weren't super funny. Some plot points that didn't realize themselves but all in all= it's a movie you DO want to watch and it's worth your time/ and I'm actually gonna keep this one for my collection, which I'm pretty picky about. A note to Foreign film makers= ALWAYS have a DUB VERSION. Movies are a Visual Medium before they are anything else regardless of their components. It's hard to watch a movie when you are reading what the actors are saying, especially if there's a lot of dialogue. ALSO= no one gives a F@#K if it doesn't match at all- if I can listen to it- then it doesn't matter how que'd it is and you DO have to have the people that do it- do it decently- it doesn't have to be super exceptional, just so I can watch the movie and not read it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/25/25 Full Review tm11999 M great earth in the balance movie about strife, crisis and the decisions made by simple humans. plenty of side stories concerning all the characters allow for every decision made to be life changing. this movie is fine and you should watch it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/11/25 Full Review Koi P Appreciated the character development throughout the film and the ever evolving relationship between the two main characters. Enough twists and surprises to make this film interesting even if the base plot is well worn. Humor, suspense, action, and heart. Fun watch. As always, better subtitled than dubbed. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/25 Full Review 브래디 톰 It's crude and not even funny! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/25 Full Review Read all reviews
