Empire Magazine Rated: 4/5 Dec 30, 2006 Full Review Rachel Dwyer Sight & Sound This enthralling film deserves to realise Indian producers' longstanding dream of reaching an international audience. Nov 6, 2001 Full Review Neil Smith BBC.com If you leave your prejudices at the box office, you may find it rather invigorating -- if a little on the lengthy side. While the musical segues could have ended up on the editing room floor, I've sat through worse things than Kareena Kapoor shaking her bootay. Rated: 4/5 Aug 10, 2003 Full Review Read all reviews

Yuvraj C Asoka had a great story to tell but it was told such flat way that no character is get established. Director focuses lot on Asoka and Kaurawaki relationship which at times feels childish. Santosh Sivan as cinematographer does commendable job but as director he is not up to the mark, he tried to make pure bollywood entertainer which is the biggest flaw of the film. Shahrukh Khan as Asoka disappoints a lot all I could see is Shahrukh Khan playing Shahrukh Khan in ancient attires. Gulzar saab's lyrics doesn't fit to the era they seemed mismatch despite being well written songs. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/22/24 Full Review Dan W Might be interesting if you invest the time to watch the cartoons, but why would you do that? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/20/24 Full Review Audience Member Perfect casting boring and uninteresting story. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/06/24 Full Review Larry b One of my favorite 3 Star Wars characters, seeing her and the Rebels cast in live action was a treat. Baylon was a treasure. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/19/24 Full Review Peter F It's OK. The acting is a bit wooden and one dimensional. The story is fine. I enjoyed seeing Thrawn, though I hope they don't try to connect this to the first order story (best to leave that as a bad memory). Hoping for more in season 2. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/17/24 Full Review Niloy D Masterpiece. How the historical character and imaginary character is portrayed, awesome.
