Audience Member Some gorgeous scenery and cool concepts help, but at nearly three hours, this movie is far too long for the story it tells. For the most part, it's the typical lost world story, with few surprises. Even in the silent era, this was already a stock story. Evil queen, handsome explorer, sinister henchmen, hidden land that seems like paradise but isn't , etc. OK, but nothing special.
