Audience Member Fantastic mid-90s flick, futuristic western with strong horror elements and a lot of good humour. Outstanding cinematography and production. Decent story and with many good original ideas. This is that kind of film that would have been making millions if it had been shot with an English soundtrack. However, even Iggy Pop's (Spanish dubbed) performance is one of his most memorable. Look out for his opening and closing track Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Between 2.5 and 3 stars. Original in its conception, too much weird in some moments, a parody of westerns which is difficult to understand if you don't know the classic common places of this kind of movies, and also of their dubbed versions to Spanish. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member The United States is reduced to a lawless wasteland by nuclear war, punctuated by small centers of power run by local warlords. Atolladero is one such place in Texas, run by The Judge, his power enforced by the sheriff and his personal bodyguard Madden (Iggy Pop). When one of the sheriff's deputies wants to leave to attend the police academy in Los Angeles, they try to kill him. I hated every second if this unbelievably ugly, loud, unpleasant film. Yeah, Iggy is in it, but he's dubbed in Spanish, so you can't even hear his magnificent voice. The only high point: He sings the theme song over the opening credits.
