Jeffrey Lyles Lyles' Movie Files Maybe the real value here is watching Atomic Apocalypse as the centerpiece of a bad movie night with your most jeer-ready friends. Otherwise, it's best to leave this in the wasteland. Rated: 1/10 Feb 24, 2020 Full Review James Perkins Starburst Poorly paced and wayward. Rated: 4/10 Feb 5, 2020 Full Review Paul Mount Starburst Black Flowers delivers some impressive visuals - the cinematography is quite cinematic in places, giving the film a real sense of scale. Rated: 7/10 Jun 25, 2019 Full Review Anton Bitel Projected Figures Kate's retention of family values in a world that has otherwise lost both its geographical and moral compass is what makes Black Flowers such a strange joy, in spite, or perhaps because, of all its tonal dissonances. Alexandria F What the actual did I watch and not in a good way? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review harry r The movie revolves around Krista Demille's character and her trying to survive a nuclear apocalypse with her family. It starts off ok but you will notice that there are times that there are sound and script problems. I will give the script the benefit of the doubt because there are too many times you cannot hear what she says. She tends to mumble some of her lines and at other times she'll speak very clearly. Then the reactions of the actors are not what you might feel is correct for the scene. You'll notice certain facial expressions that are off. Now, there are clearly bad points in the script even considering the moments were you can't hear or understand what is being said. You are left filling in the blanks both imaginatively and in words. The last time I saw a movie like this was back in the early seventies. It was made around 1967 and you were left questioning, "What did I just watch." That was my reaction here. "What did I just watch." I was left with no feelings or care for the characters what so ever. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
