When a tornado hits a nuclear power plant and damages the cooling system, manager Corrine Maguire (Sharon Lawrence) and her staff try to avert a total meltdown. Meanwhile, her son, Campbell (Daniel Costello), has gone missing during the twister. Corrine asks her friend, policeman Jake Hannah (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), to locate Campbell and take him to safety. With the plant needing fuel to power a manual cooling motor, Jake must also drive a tanker to the facility and prevent a complete disaster.

Isabella G Aug 18 The older style of this movie was very refreshing. Possible spoilers: there are many frustrating moments where the characters stand around and do nothing as a nuclear meltdown is minutes away from happening. This was pretty frustrating, however, the character development of Jake was a redeeming quality of the movie. I'm taking the assumption this is a PWR because.. america and OH MY GOD the actual stupidity. The fact they refused to shut it down through a tornado and used "less energy" makes me want to rip my hair out.
