Claudio C @Claudio666 Jul 15 Attack of the Southern Fried Zombies (2017) Neither Funny, Nor Scary (11,832 – 14 Jul 2025 – by Claudio Carvalho) In Charleston, Mississippi, a music festival will begin, and the friends Robbie (Moses J. Moseley), Matt (Michael Emery) and Asher (Scotty Whitehurst) go to the isolated house of Creighton (Bruce Penton) to buy weed. They find Creighton dead at home and out of the blue he raises, bites Asher and hunts the trio of friends. Meanwhile, the pilot Lonnie (Timothy Haug) is pulverizing an experimental chemical substance to control the Asian Kudzu in the crop under the supervision of the scientists Dr. Klein (Miles Doleac) and Dr. Fukushima (Kiyomi Fukazawa) that are researching the effects. Soon Creighton bites other locals that turn into zombies while Dr. Fukushima learns that the chemicals are turning people into zombies. “Attack of the Southern Fried Zombies” (2017) is an American horror comedy movie that is neither funny nor scary. The story and the plot are stupid and silly with many clichés. The acting is awful, and the special effects are very poor. My advice is stay away from this terrible flick. My vote is three. When I read the description I thought it was going to be a horror/comedy, but the only funny part is that they spent money making this embarrassment of a movie. Don't waste your time. See more Actually I @Susan265 10/08/2022 This is one of those movies that is so badly done that it doesn't even make the B list. I've seen better makeup from teenagers dressing up for Halloween. The original zombie is obviously wearing a rubber Halloween mask. The parts where the townspeople were just driving by in the background, oblivious to the movie being filmed, was laughable.
