It's a movie made for fans, allowing them to reunite with their favourite characters for what is supposed to be the last time, developing a satisfying ending to the series that leaves open the possibility of new stories. [Full review in Spanish].

It was AMAZING to see the ending to my favorite anime on the big screen, surrounded by fellow anime fans. PLEASE do more anime showings!

The lines on the eyes are so distracting. Also the movie felt like a long recap episode. The villain gave too many varying excuses to justify his actions. It felt like the author didn’t quite commit to a narrative of what his legacy would be—villain or savior. A more complicated outcome would be fine too, but all the reasoning given to reach a conclusion was convoluted. Also I was disappointed in how it ended. It definitely felt like we were unnecessarily robbed of something. There should’ve been more interaction between the two main characters. I liked the action though.
