Farah R An unremarkable documentary that doesn't live up to the grandeur of its subject, Audrey fails to highlight Audrey Hepburn's personal life and career in a captivating way. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/29/23 Full Review John B I enjoyed this documentary and found it very interesting in revealing the life of the legendary actress Audrey Hepburn and the kind of simple down to earth women she was. It also showed us the tragedies in her life from an early age and how she overcame them with family & friends, plus I particularly enjoyed the humanitarian side of her that we didn't get to see in the media and how she helped millions of children throughout the world through UNICEF. She was such a beautiful women both inside & out as I gained a lot of respect for her after this movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Expertly done. It leaves an indelible mark on one's heart. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review cem y I should tell you that my review will be completely biased because I truly admire Audrey Hepburn even though I was born after her death and I became acquainted with her movies in high school. After this documentary, I believe that it is impossible to not fall in love with Audrey, because she is portrayed with all her vulnerabilities and brilliance. It is strongly suggested for a Hepburn admirer. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review kyle v Reviewed 4.15.21 This Netflix doc is well produced and provides an interesting, but cursory look at the influential and inspiring life of Audrey Hepburn. It will go down sweet for fans of the cultural icon, as it sticks closely to her side of the story, represented most intimately by her close friends and family. Unfortunately, the opinions of her ex-husbands are not included. Perhaps the Hepburn family deemed them unworthy of inclusion, or perhaps they simply never went on record. For such a public figure, she kept her personal life as private as possible. This is to be admired, but makes her a challenging subject for a truly in-depth documentary. That said, she lived such a dynamic life that even a surface telling offers much to behold. She may just be the most influential celebrity of the second half of the 20th century (perhaps the peak of Hollywood celebrity culture). Her Dickensian tale, and larger than life impact, make for must watch biographical history. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This documentary really surprised me. I thought I knew a fair amount about Audrey Hepburn but this brought her to life in a totally new way. I loved the use of dance and the archive footage was simply stunning. It was inspirational and really moving - I would highly recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Candice Frederick Elle Hepburn confronted challenges both in front of and away from the camera, and Audrey shows she's an icon not because she's the archetype of what every woman should be. Jan 15, 2021 Full Review Leslie Felperin Hollywood Reporter Even if you watch it alone on a laptop with a bottle of cheap beer and a dried-up turkey sandwich, Audrey is a pleasure. That's mostly due to the still-incandescent star power of its subject. Dec 18, 2020 Full Review Richard Roeper Chicago Sun-Times While lacking new insights, the film provides ample evidence of her star power and a solid summary of her journey through show business and humanitarian work. Rated: 3/4 Dec 16, 2020 Full Review Victoria Luxford City AM If you dont know very much about her career, or her work as a UNICEF ambassador, its a user-friendly stroll through a remarkable life. It is, however, missing those little moments of disclosure that make you see a familiar face in a whole new light. Rated: 3/5 Feb 28, 2022 Full Review Fernanda Solórzano Letras Libres A valuable documentary... lets you see how that conscious decision not to pity onerself was the nucleus from which the light emanated from her not only as a person but the characters she played. [Full review in Spanish] Aug 25, 2021 Full Review Kyle Smith National Review Many actors cite unhappy childhoods, but few triumphed over such dire privation as Audrey Hepburn. As we learn in the lovely documentary Audrey. Mar 26, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
