Stanley T The cinematography was spectacular. The story was a bit vague. I was not able to follow that quickly. The story tackles infatuations and how these sisters deal with them despite their vows of chastity and obedience. Maryam likes this priest, being a nun, and watching her fellow sister dying due to old age made her think of what is truly ahead of her for this consecrated life. The best highlight of this movie is the scene where Maryam goes to confession, and the confessor turns out to be the priest whom she love. It also made me think of how the pressure of "sin" is weighted more towards Maryam, and was not somehow the same as to the priest. This analogy of mine paints a clear picture of what is truly happening in the church recently. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/08/23 Full Review Read all reviews
