Darren D @DarrenJD Nov 28 The golden era of Cannon Films pumping out B-movies into the action genre & using in house regulars, director Sam Firstenberg & the action duo of Michael Dudikoff & Steve James which made 1986 "Avenging Force" one of their highlights. It’s a wild ride partly as it sets itself as a political action thriller before turning into the deadliest game with our clean cut heroes taking on a far-right group who aren’t treated as nameless henchmen. The vast locations of New Orleans bring an extra bit of personality to the story & the action sequences. Using a Mardi Gras parade before turning it into a massacre & a chase across the rooftops. The bogged down location of the bayou & the attack on the ranch where no one is safe in an explosive sequence. What's not to love? See more David W Feb 3 Initially slated as a sequel to Invasion USA starring the great man Chuck Norris but Chuck declined to appear in it. It's very much inspired (to be kind) by 'The most dangerous game' but Dudikoff and the rest of the cast do a fine job and there are some very nice action scenes to go with the social comment. It's a banger as far as I'm concerned if you're a fan of 80's action movies. Check out the Van Damme 90's movie 'Hard Target' if you enjoyed this.
