09/12/2020 I didn't like "Aya" & the ending was really unsatisfying and came much too quickly. This movie is way too short to have any sort of substance and I was really hoping for a deeper relationship between the two main characters. 40 minutes is not enough time to forge a friendship. this was my second attempt at watching it. The first time was several months ago and I couldn't get past the first few minutes, but watching all 40 minutes wasn't that satisfying either See more 02/19/2015 Grade: (A) At 30 minutes+, it's barely a "short" but I'd have been quite happy if it had gone on longer. Endearing, mysterious, risky, sexy and sweet... my fave of the five 2015 Oscar Nominated Live Action shorts, in a very strong field, this year. See more 02/14/2015 A ride full of laughs, jolts and surprises - in more ways than one. See more 02/14/2015 shows an emotion, maybe existential aloneness? that is rarely depicted in cinema..
