John Serba Decider Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires is a one-time-only kind of watch, mostly for diehard Batman completists. It’s novel, more than a little overstuffed and occasionally enjoyable. An achievement for such a low budget production. You can see the love and care the artists applied to every scene. A huge jump for mexican Anima Studios. And kudos to WB for taking the risk at such crazy Elsworlds idea. Fantasy and history mixed together for a bloody guilty pleasure. The potential for more is very much present.
