Aaron C This anime is a masterclass in comedic timing and delivery. I encourage everyone to watch this show subbed as the English dub tends to miss this critical element. I actually watched this anime all the way through without subtitles on the second watch through, and despite not knowing any Japanese, I still knew when to laugh or smile and could still follow the narrative. It's really that good. While the concept seems a bit boring, great skits and colorful animation will keep you coming back for more. The writing is fantastic and the score accommodates the feel of the show perfectly. Think of it as Seinfeld if it was an anime. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member I didn't think Azumanga Daioh was that great of a show. Way too girly for me. But I did like this special. Very imaginative, but nothing special compared to the show was also good but nothing special. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
