scott h I watched this ad DocLab in Hanoi Vietnam with a live streamed Q&A with the writer/host who lived the experience and shot most of the footage in the 80s. This film inspired me to make my first feature documentary about the underground music scene in Hanoi, Vietnam called Hanoi Mixtape. Building on that I created a serious feature documentary called Witness Underground about a music scene inside of a religious cult. Thanks to the team behind this film! This exceptional film actually follows Mark Reeder through his first-hand experiences of Berlin's subculture throughout the decade before the tearing down of the Iron Curtain.
