Jeff M I've only gotten high twice in my life, but something tells me watching this movie while drugged could result in the greatest viewing experience of your life. This totally deserves its place in a 1980s time capsule next to a Members Only jacket and a Rubik's Cube. Take out the nostalgia factor, and this is a rough movie. God bless Drew Barrymore, but she could NOT act during this period of her life. Her work here could possibly be worthy of SMALL WONDER - maybe. It's all very cartoonish and broad and doesn't make a lick of sense. This is regional theater stuff here. For me, the saving grace was Keanu Reeves. The only thing more surprising than his appearance here is how much spirit and effort he is displaying - and not once does he look embarrassed. And I didn't realize how empty why life was until I heard Keanu saying the line "He's got trolls! Hundreds of ugly trolls. And they ate all the cookies." And the fact that Barrymore, Reeves and others in the cast not only sing a song about Cincinatti but enjoy a reprise toward the end, well, that's worth watching no matter how bad the film. So, basically, those fond of 80s schmaltz may rate this a little higher; others will probably go considerably lower. I'll stick to my stance right in the middle. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/24 Full Review Audience Member This is animated ****ing ****, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfunny, unoriginal, and the worst mix of original content (and a horrible voice cast)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member The funniest cartoon ever, based on the 1980s movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Absolute classic! One that's hard to find at that. I don't know why this film wasn't completely blown up to be known world wide. Even rewatching it (first time since childhood) you can clearly see the outstanding ambition. The plot is wonderful taking some unique twists with personality to create a beautiful & sweet but also a hint of dark & intriguing a story that keeps you on your edge. Really enjoyed! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member It is not good because the characters in the last picture from the end credits of that movie will give me nightmares with the last 6 notes from the end credits of that movie Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I grew up with this movie and have been looking for it for over 10 years... love this movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews
