Audience Member Hallmark Hall of Shame movie. Sometimes Hallmark makes good to great TV films but this isn't one of them except maybe for the ending Another Anne Tyler book based film which did not transfer to film well for me. Peter Fonda appears midway thru the film and surely shows his age now in his 70's. He does a convincing role of a jilted teenage lover of the lead actress Danner who does a great job of being a overworked head of her numerous dysfunctional family. Faye Dunnaway makes a mere cameo appearance so don't be fooled into watching this one because of her. This was just about close to being a waste of 98 minutes for me though it is done well and the women are unhappy except for our ever kind Danner. Flashbacks throughout the entire film tend to be distracting but you get the idea after a half hour of them. Nothing disturbing in this film. Maybe thats why I barely held interest. ---- Monsieur Rick Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member 2016-02-09 very confusing family relationships to sort out, made the movie hard to follow Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Blyhte Danner is such a terrific actress, I wish I could see more of Blythe as a lead, she was the center of this movie, the support & did it brilliantly, with her funny classy style..charming Danner.
